Vienna Stock Exchange. Architektur

Between the years 1874 and 1877, the distinctive brick building of the Börse, the former Viennese stock exchange, was built in classic Renaissance style by the Danish architect Theophil von Hansen. The highlight of the concept was the Börsensaal, which was entirely destroyed by fire and later remodelled into an interior courtyard.

At the Säulenhalle, the multifaceted architecture of the historic house is combined with the vibrant flair of contemporary life in a magnificent way.
Vienna Stock Exchange. Projekt

The building of the Börse with its characteristic brick-red facade belongs to one of the most important monumental buildings of the well-known Wiener Ringstraße. Until 1988, it was the site of Vienna’s Stock Exchange and was then adapted as a modern office building. Particular importance was placed on the materials being used, on exclusive equipment as well as on the building’s typical arrangement.

The detailed architectural trademarks of the rooms distribute to a unique aura of the offices. In addition, the portico, the Säulenhalle, creates the perfect framework for social occasions such as cocktail parties or premiere galas.
